Applied Plasma Physics Laboratory at the C&J Nyheim Plasma Institute invites applications for two Ph.D. student positions to participate in experimental research in physics and chemistry of atmospheric pressure nanosecond-pulsed plasmas in and above liquids, as well as their applications.
The successful candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in physics or engineering (mechanical, electrical or closely related field), high motivation and commitment to research, and good English skills. Applicants from underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply.
Applicants will be expected to apply for Drexel University Ph.D. program at the departments of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Chemical and Biological Engineering (https://drexel.edu/grad/programs/coe/).
